Objective
  • Development of antiglare-antistatic coating on glass and plastic substrate using redispersable In2O3:Sn (ITO) crystalline nanoparticles

Method

  • Room temperature spraying of a redispersable ITO nanoparticle solution modified by addition of organic materials
  • Densification by UV irradiation (plastic, glass) or heat treatment (glass)

Application
  • AGAS coatings for Cathode Ray Tube, LCD, EMI and RFI shielding, calculator panel, copier glasses, etc.

Benefits

  • Excellent antiglare properties.
  • Simple and low cost processing.
  • Single and double layer processing.
  • Choice of processing temperature ranging from 100 to 600°C.
  • No acid etching.
