- Synthesis of thin, glasslike layers for additional coloring of halide lamp-bulbs with
intensive, durable and transparent coloring
Methods
- Coating of the glass surface with nanocomposite layers by sol-gel process
- wet coating techniques (dip-coating, spraying) with following densification of the layer
at T(400 - 650 °C)
Results
- Transparent, scratch-resistant, glass-like layers showing the colors red, blue, yellow,
amber and green
- coating thickness: 150 nm - 2 µm

- High-temperature and UV-stable coloring of lamp-bulbs and optical filters
