DESCRIPTION
Preparation of Titanium Oxide Ceramic Membranes
A procedure is disclosed for the reliable production of either particulate or
polymeric titanium ceramic membranes by a highly constrained sol-gel
procedure. The critical constraints in the procedure include the choice of alkyl
alcohol solvent, the amount of water and its rate of addition, the pH of the
solution during hydrolysis, and the limit of sintering temperature applied to
the resulting gels.
