The problem is that the Oxygen content the film is around 99% and so CuO formation is not taking place.<br />Any suggestion or some recipes that we can try?<br />Inputs will be appreciated.<br /><br />Thanks,<br />Mehul.]]>

However I seem to have a problem with basic solutions (sodium bicarbonate) at a pH of around 9 dissolving the coating from a glass microscope slide and other glass substrates. Movements are achieved by a precision step motor controlled linear stage.<BR>Dip-coating process, includes five stages: immersion, startup, deposition, evaporation and drainage. In the dip coating method, the substrate is slowly dipped into and withdrawn from a tank containing the solution, with a uniform velocity, in order to obtain a uniform coating.<BR>A microprocessor based system along with user friendly software takes care of accurate control throughout the process. Speed, traverse and idling duration can be programmed through the computer. The system is complete with mechanics, substrate holder, electronics and software.<BR>Dip coating is done by immersing a substrate into a tank containing the coating material, removing from the tank, and allowing it to drain. The coated piece can then be dried by force-drying or baking.<BR>The product described here has been developed for specific research applications. Reading through literature, most have successfully deposited TiO2 by hydrothermal method using ammonium hexafluorotitanate. My problem is that I don't have this reagent around, what I have is TiO2 powder. A have seen nanowires grown starting with TiO2 powders. Is there any alternate route to hydrothermal method starting from TiO2 powder? Or should I try to make (NH4)TiF6 from TiO2 powder?]]>
