Hi

I have found a ref that gives a method for MTES (methyltriethoxysilane) sol gel for fabrics to make them water resistant but they dont give any idea of quantity of solutions to add.  Other links add the MTES with TEOS in a 1:4 ration, I want to use only MTES to compare this against TEOS and a mixture of TEOS:MTES.  Has anyone any ideas of ratios, they use  MTES, EtOH, H2O and 0.05M HCl.

Cheers
