bullet Topic: Extrusion of sol-gel tubing
    Posted: 29 May 2001 at 10:30am
I want to extrude a "glass-like" tube, approaching a cm in diameter and with walls about a mm thick, at room temperature. I want mechanical properties perhaps a tenth as good as glass, and for it to be impermeable to water. I would like it to extrude at a rate of a few mm/s.
Any suggestions?
